Relax in our peaceful hillside villa under the shade of olive
trees with this wonderful view of Skopelos and Alonnisos.

Illiolousti Thea (sun-bathed view) occupies an elevated position above Skiathos town just ten minutes away by car, which you will need. Consider a 4 x 4 if you can afford it. Whilst not essential, our track can be quite rough and the North coast can be explored more easily too. The villa has it's own secluded patio facing south and east. Each bedroom has its own roofed balcony with outside furniture. Air conditioning is provided in both bedrooms and also downstairs in the salon where there are two luxury sofas, one converting to a double bed. There is a bathroom on each floor. The kitchen is fitted out with traditional furniture and includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker and kettle. Outside the views are panoramic towards Skopelos and then Alonnisos islands. It is a rural position surrounded by olive trees and close to the Evangelistria monastery, although not in sight. Access by car is good and no flights of steps are involved. It has been described as a very tranquil site with wonderful sunrises to greet you each morning.

Skiathos Island is one of the four Sporades Greek Islands, the greenest in the Aegean measuring just eight miles by six, and boasting more than fifty beautiful beaches from Koukounaries with its crescent of golden sand, fringed by vivid pines and offering many water-sports, to tiny coves only reached by hire-boats.

Skiathos Island has its own airport so direct flights are easy. There are many things to do and see in between lazy days on the beaches.

Whether you fancy 'Round the Island by boat' or a cruise to the famous wild Marine Park conservation area calling at Skopelos island and Alonnisos islands first for sightseeing; there is plenty to interest you. Perhaps a day going further afield from your holiday rental in Skiathos could take you to Athens or the monasteries of Meteora where '007 For Your Eyes Only' was filmed.
