The peninsular called The Bourtzi was once a fortress built in the 13 century by the Venetians after they seized Skiathos in 1207. Now it is quiet and peaceful with panoramic views towards the mainland, and mid-way between the two harbours. Here you can relax with an iced-coffee or snack and ‘drift’ into another world!
